In the third quarter of 2024, the top film and television applications in Spain demonstrated varied performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides a comprehensive view of the landscape for these popular apps.

Max: Stream HBO, TV, & Movies showed a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $345K in late July. Downloads were highest in the same period, reaching about 367K. However, a downward trend was observed in downloads towards the end of the quarter, falling to around 79K. Weekly active users started at 604K and surged to 973K by late July, ending the quarter at 957K.

Disney+ maintained a strong revenue stream, with earnings reaching up to $775K in the last week of September. Downloads fluctuated, with a peak of 84K in mid-August before settling at 43K by the end of the quarter. Active users remained robust, starting at 2.2M and peaking at 2.5M in mid-August, before ending at 2.2M.

Amazon Prime Video experienced a steady revenue flow, with a slight increase to approximately $140K by the end of September. Downloads saw a peak of 68K in mid-August, tapering off to 42K by the quarter's end. Active user numbers fluctuated slightly, beginning at 1.4M and reaching 1.6M in early September, before closing at 1.4M.

Netflix witnessed a gradual increase in weekly revenue, ending the quarter at about $47K. Downloads were relatively stable, peaking at 56K in mid-August and maintaining an average of around 49K towards the end. Active users remained consistently high, starting at 3.1M and peaking at 3.4M in mid-August, with a slight dip to 3.1M by late September.

Movistar Plus+ saw fluctuating download numbers, with a significant peak of 86K in mid-August. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at 467K, peaking at 483K in late August, and stabilizing at 452K by the end of September.
